Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

This website, vanaheimpublishing.com, is operated by J. Edward Cox ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. We do not ask for your name, address, or any other personal details.

The site may also collect standard, non-identifying technical information through our newsletter provider and the advertising tool described below, including approximate location, browser type, and pages visited. This helps us understand how the site is used.

Advertising and cookies

We use the Meta Pixel (from Meta/Facebook) to measure whether our advertising works — for example, whether someone who saw an ad visited this site or clicked through to Amazon. The pixel sets cookies and shares visit data with Meta, both from your browser and, when you click a buy button, from our server (your IP address, browser type, and the pixel's cookie identifiers). You can read Meta's privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

If you are visiting from the EU/EEA or the UK, the pixel is only activated after you accept it via the consent banner. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time here.

How we use it

We use your email address only to send you author updates and news about new releases. We will never sell or rent your email address to anyone.

Who handles your data

Our newsletter is managed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which stores subscriber email addresses on our behalf. You can read Kit's privacy practices at kit.com/privacy.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from the list immediately. You may also contact us at any time to ask what data we hold about you, or to request that we delete it.
